Building in Good Faith (BIGF)
is our new organizing initiative asking faith-based institutions,
in the midst major building and renovation projects, to reduce their
purchasing and use of toxic building materials, particularly those
made from PVC, and to incorporate sustainability and the precautionary
principle into their facilities design, construction and operational
practices; To not just build, but to build just buildings. We are
working with a number of national organizations to seed this campaign,
including the
Healthy Building Network and Coalition
on the Environment and Jewish Life (COEJL). See our REPORT
